Most physicists would agree that one of the primary goals of their discipline is to explain why the laws of nature are what they are. Some time ago, I read Lee Smolin's The Trouble With Physics. A first for Harvard: My earlier post had the address wrong!*. To discuss his book, with the declarative title, “The Trouble with Physics”. However there is very little consensus on how to achieve it. Unfortunately, it's also three books. Over the Christmas break I read “The trouble with physics” by Lee Smolin. SpaceAdmiral writes "You've likely heard of Lee Smolin's book The Trouble with Physics.
